Clear information about what this website collects and how Red Fam uses it.
We collect information you choose to provide through event RSVPs, contact and anonymous-message forms, sponsor inquiries, merch feedback, merch orders, and email-list signups. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email, phone number, event response, transportation needs, order selections, payment-method preference, feedback, and message content.
Red Fam uses this information to coordinate events, respond to messages, manage the community, fulfill merch requests, match separately completed payments to orders, communicate announcements, review merch feedback, coordinate sponsorships, and operate this website.
The merch feedback feature uses local browser storage to remember a browser’s selection and reduce duplicate votes. The staff portal uses a secure session cookie after an authorized login. You can clear browser storage or cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may sign staff out or reset saved merch feedback.
Red Fam does not currently use a dedicated visitor analytics or advertising tracker on the public website. Hosting and service providers may process basic technical logs needed to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
We do not sell personal information. Information may be handled by service providers that support website hosting, data storage, file delivery, and email delivery, including Cloudflare and Resend. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect the community, comply with law, or respond to a valid legal request.
We retain submissions for as long as reasonably useful for event coordination, order fulfillment, sponsor follow-up, team records, and website operations. Staff may archive completed items. You may ask the team to review or delete information you submitted, subject to records the team reasonably needs to retain.
We use access controls appropriate to this community website, including code-protected staff access. No website or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Providing information through public forms is optional, but required fields are needed to process that request. When you submit an event RSVP, the form notice explains that Red Fam may email you about that event, future events, merch, and community updates. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option. You may contact Red Fam to ask about information you submitted or request a correction or deletion.
This website is intended for the Red Fam and college-community audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so the team can review it.
We may update this policy as the website or Red Fam activities change. The effective date below will be updated when material changes are published.
